Using the HAESTED Methods Software (water cad), and the available base map compute flow in each pipe, the pressure at each node and the HL in each pipe. The following design values should be used.

1. Show at least 7 loops and 2 dead ends.

2. 8" min. size

3. H. WC = 100-130

4. Pipe Lenghts> 500 ft

5. Multiple outflow nodes

6. Residual pressure > 40 psi

7. Include minor losses (valves, elbows etc)

8. Check Results for extreme values of HL and Veloctiy

9. Hand-in-a lay-out diagram along with a summary table of results*

10. Each student is to chose their own design flow between 6 and 13 cfs.

Must Include residual pressure, Q's, HL in each pipe, V and etc.
