I have data for these questions. However, all I am trying to learn is how to perform the steps within the questions. These are questions for a spectroscope lab we are going to do, and I'd like to have basic knowledge of the information covered. Please answer with concept explanations if possible. Thanks!

Below is an example of what an example of the results through the spectroscope were.

a. Calculate the wavelengths of the Balmer series lines
-Convert each of the scale readings for the hydrogen spectum to wavelength using the final calibration graph/equation.

b. Calculate the energy of the emitted photon
-Based on the wavelength of each transition, determine the energy emitted by the photon

c. Calculate n_high for each transition
-using the rydberg equation where n_1=2 and n_2=n_high, calculate n_high for each spectral line (transition, wavelength) observed.

e. Calculate the energy of each n level

Using the Bohr equation for the energy of any level in a hydrogen atom, calculate the energy of each level, n=1 through n=8 and n=(infinity)

f. Calculate change in Energy
