  •  A hotel manager is interested in the mean length of stay for his guests.  A random sample of 16 guests produced a mean length of stay of 4.3 nights with a standard deviation of 1.2 nights.  Assume the distribution of lengths of stay for guests follows a normal distribution.
  • Compute a 95% confidence interval for the mean length of stay for all guests of this hotel. Interpret the interval from part a) in the context of the problem.
