Discuss what the components are that critical thinking is made of and what phases does it go through.

Perception is one component of critical thinking. Think of how your individual perceptions concerning a specific issue or problem have changed as a result of an event or experience. For example: A person's perception of a country may have changed as a result of living in that country.

Offer tips that can be used to purposely alter one's perception. Determine the other components?

Think of the phases you go through to apply the critical thinking process. For example, once you face a triggered event, you start to appraise the situation, then what you do next?
