The Healthwise Company produces a variety of exercise equipment. Healthwise management is very pleased with the increasing sales of its newest model of exercise bicycle. The sales during the last two months have been 4,655 and then 4,935. Management has been using exponential smoothing with trend, with a smoothing constant of α = 0.1 and a trend smoothing constant of ß = 0.2, to forecast sales for the next month each time. The forecasts for the last two months were 4,720 and then 4,975. The last estimate of the trend factor was 240. Calculate the forecast of sales for next month. (Use hand calculations rather than an Excel template)
