A lot of companies come up with great culture slogans, but I want a company that actually backs it up. I think this company definitely has a competitive advantage in several ways. Initially I was going to say Google, the movie "The Internship" got me interested haha. But realistically if I was going to make a career switch, I would look into some place like Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. It was recently ranked No. 1 in Forbes for Best Employers For Women 2024. They are known for wanting women in leadership positions and supporting them in that career advancement. Actually 80% of their 15,000 employees are women with 65% being in management positions. The best boss I have had is a woman and she understand and was supportive of all aspects of life that can affect not just the job but a person as a whole. This company looks like it embodies that same mentality. I have been hesitant historically of working with a lot of women as unfortunately drama and gossip tend to follow. However, this company goes out of their way to create a nurturing.
