Case: Wendy's Market is a medium-sized store in town that sells groceries. At the checkmout counter, one can find 5 point-of-sale cash registers. The store wants to connect all cash registers to a server in the back room. The back room is roughly 150 meters away from the cash registers. Considering the technologies, there are three possible scenariosfor connecting the cash registers to the server:

Question 1. Connect each cash register to the server using separate point-to-point lines. Each line will be some form of conducted medium.

Question 2. Transmit the output of each cash register to the server via some form of wirelesssignal.

Question 3. Combine all the cash register outputs using multiplexing and send the multiplexed stream to the server over a conducted-medium line. Briefly examine the above scenario and outline the advantages and disadvantages of each solution. State which solution is the most efficient and why.
