1. Why was the use of a narrative methodology appropriate for our particular research questions--to understand the psychological responses and chronology of experiences of runners with overuse injuries?

2. We found that our narrative interview question was difficult for participants to respond to because of its length and multiple components. In order to address this, we gave participants a written copy of the question. Can you think of other ways we could have dealt with this issue while maintaining a narrative form of interview?

3. Participants had trouble remembering some details about their experiences with injuries. In the previous section, we described some strategies we thought might address this issue. Can you think of other strategies or prompts that could have helped participants recall their experiences with injury?

4. Narrative methods involve recalling the story of a lived experience. Although we thought this method was appropriate and effective in answering our research question, can you think of any potential limitations to this method?

5. We recruited participants for this study from a university running group as well as local running stores. Can you see any limitations to this sampling method?
