1) To reach the equivalence point, 60 mL of HNO3 (aq) was titrated with 40 mL of 0.375 M LiOH

a) Write the chemical equation for the neutralization reaction and identify the ACID, BASE and the SALT

b) Determine the concentration of the acid.

2) 30 mL of 0.200 M NH3 is titrated with 0.100 M HCl (aq). Determine the pH values at the following 3 points:

i) with 0 mL of acid

ii) at the equivalence point

iii) when 80 mL of the acid has been added

Use the data to draw a titration curve for the neutralization reaction.
