1) Cellular Respiration and the Photosynthesis co-exist as the paired metabolic processes.

Photosynthesis utilizes the light energy to transform the carbon dioxide into the glucose, a simple sugar, within two steps-the light dependent and the light independent reactions. Oxygen is released as the by product during the process of photosynthesis. This reaction stores the energy in chemical bonds of the glucose.

Sugar and the other carbohydrates utilizes as fuel sources by cells. During process of the Aerobic Cellular Respiration, glucose is broken down utilizing the oxygen. This reaction liberates the energy that is utilized to generate the ATP molecules, energy carrier molecule of the cells. The process also liberates the Carbon Dioxide as a by product.
