With reference to Carroll's paper, consider and critically analyse:

• Organisational differences: The factors in which organisations competing in your industry of choice are distinguished or differentiated by and how these factors (or others), form the basis for performance differentials within the industry;
• Performance differences: Whatthe actual performance metrics are that organisations are being measured against (often company performance is measured by profit - see readings, but how has this way of assessing performance changed/ become more complex?);
• Strategic Performance: How might your company strategically influence these factors to realise higher performance? Include evidence to back up your suggestions.
