"In conclusion, while ICT has the potential to help bolster social movements in the United States, it must be used in conjunction with more traditional forms of activism in order to effect true social change. The use of websites, social media sites, texting platforms, and applications can help activists create wider networks of awareness and can assist them in organizing physical protests and actions, but without sustained effort and collaboration from activists, these platforms will only be a quick fix rather than a real solution."
