The bullet penetrates into the block and stops due to itsfriction with the block. The compound system of the block plus thebullet rises to a height of 7 cm along a circular arc with a 13 cmradius. Assume: The entire track is frictionless. A bullet with am1 =30 g mass is fired horizontally into a block of wood withm2 =5.12 kg mass. The acceleration of gravity is9.8m/s2 .
