Q. You are the executive housekeeper of a resort hotel in Florida. you have been asked to give your professional opinion on the type of floor covering u would recommend for the three areas of the resort that are going to be redesigned six months from now. The areas in need of new floors are the resort coffee shop, the main reception n the employee locker room. The weather in Florida is subtropical with warm summer's n mild winters. The hotel has two large swimming pools n the guests practise many water-sports at the nearby ocean front. As a result people staying at the resort often go to the front desk n concierge areas n occasionally to the coffee shop counter with water dripping from their wet bathing suits.

Present a written report describing:

1) The type's floor available

2) The significant criteria which must be considered prior to selection

3) The floors that you would recommend from the area, giving clear reasons for your choice.

Prepare a performance specification for each of the floorings selected. Explain how you will calculate the success or failure of your choice.
