An asset has an initial cost of $45,000 at the end of 4 years the salvage value of the asset is $5,000. Using the sum of the years' digits, calculate the accumulated depreciation at the end of the 4 years.

Using the same asset presented in problem above . Apply the sum of the years' digits to calculate the depreciation only in year 2.
