The heat exchanger consists of 12 m of copper tubing that is 2 cm in diameter with 19 return bends. The flow rate is 3 x 10-4 m3/s. Water enters at 20 C and exits at 80 C. The elevation difference between the entrance and the exit is 0.8 m. Calculate the pump power (in Watts) required to operate the heat exchanger if the pressure at 1 equals the pressure at 2. Use the viscosity corresponding to the average temperature in the heat exchanger.
