In the case, Banyan tree had resorted to innovative means to incorporate CSR in their business processes and CSR initiatives were taken as a tool for customer attraction.moreover,The company was actively involved in promoting the local culture and generating employment for the local community.The company is trying its best to generate employment for local community, however disparity in lifestyle of local community and guests has a probability of creating alienation within the residents of local community.I recommend that the company must take initiatives to address this alienation and reduce it to considerable extent and they must take initiatives to address the alienation problem and reduce it to considerable extent. This way, the standard of living of the local community will get boosted and it will positively catalyze the performance of the company.
