Assessment Task -

Research and write a paper with analysis of leadership practices and associated issues within a selected organisation, choose any one organisation and please follow these all segments steps for this assessment task. (word count: 2,500 words).

Segment 1 - General Overview of the Organization Activities

Step 1 - find a FAMOUS organization, e.g. Nike, Google, FB, Disney, Microsoft, UBER, Apple, Samsung, Virgin

Step 2 - Describe what it does, the products and services offering, the culture, the history. (Should be in the Annual latest Report)

Step 3 - Define the management structure and the board of governance (check the Website or the Annual Report)

Segment 2 - Factors of Leadership

Step 1 - Determine who the Leader is? CEO? Chairman? Founder?

Step 2 - Determine the leadership style. (GOODLE the Leader, Annual Report, Media Clippings)

Step 3 - Highlight any challenges the company has faced or is facing, and how the leadership has helped to overcome such challenges. E.g. the launch of a product e.g. Apple 11 Pro and how the CEO delivered to the market.

Step 4 - Any leadership training program for the senior executives?

Segment 3 - SWOT Analysis on the Leadership

Step 1 - What is the leadership style? (use the theoretical terms)

Step 2 - What are the strengths?

Step 3 - What are the weaknesses?

Step 4 - Has the leadership provided opportunities for the organization or created more threats to the organization?

Segment 4 - Recommendations

Step 1 - Is there room for improvements? If so, what are the recommendations? BASED on the theories you have learnt during this 12 weeks of Leadership Class!!!
