Question

A builder enters into an enforceable contract with an owner to construct a home. a judge's wife owns and operates an interior design business. The wife enters into a valid agreement with the owner to decorate the home. While the wife is performing her agreement the owner files a breach of contract action against the builder i the court where the judge works. the owner gives a gift the judge that is not part of the wife's compensation under the agreement. Will itbe proper for the judge to accept the gift?
