Assignment -

Using publicly available data provided by a local cruise company, your task is to build a model for energy consumption and report your findings. You will present your results in the form of a paper created using R Markdown. A sample paper has been posted to Blackboard for your reference, and can provide you a rough outline of the sections your paper should include (I am not asking you to do a full lit review, background research, citations. . . ).

Your paper should include any relevant tables and figures, but no R code, which should be submitted separately. Your paper may include an appendix for additional tables, figures, or other material as needed (not required, this would be a good place to put things related to outlier/influence investigation, residuals diagnostics).

Please submit the following -

A PDF of your paper
The Rmd file that created that paper
Your R Code (if it's in the Rmd, that is enough - though it shouldn't be in the PDF - otherwise a .R file).

This is an individual assignment and you are not to work together. If you are found cheating or using another students R code, both individuals will receive a 0. I am less interested in whether you found some “correct”" final model, and more interested in your ability to 1) explain the model, 2) communicate any findings, and 3) put together a well formatted paper. Submissions - Please submit the following before Midnight on Friday,30th - A PDF of your paper, The Rmd file that created that paper and Your R Code (if it’s in the Rmd, that is enough - though it shouldn’t be in the PDF - otherwise a .R file).
