This assignment should meet the following learning outcomes.

Assessment 1: Case-Based Assignment

Case: MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE CASE STUDY - FURTHER CHANGE AT GOSFIELD PARK

Assessment Tasks:

1. Introduction - Cite at least 2 (two) concepts of change management and concisely discuss each. Also, identify the key points in the assignment.

2. Content and Analysis

2.1. Briefly discuss the background of the organisation under investigation and analyse the situation or risk that needs to be resolved.

2 2. If you will be hired as the Change Manager of Gosfield Park, identify, and critically evaluate the type of change Gosfield brothers want to implement. Was the Gosfield brother's method of introducing change in Gosfield Park appropriate? Please substantiate your response giving suitable reasons.

2 3. As a Change Manager, what change theory and leadership theory would you have used to overcome workers' resistance to change and drive success to the case situation?

2.4. Develop a Communication Management Plan that should have been used by the Gosfield brothers to effectively manage and lead the proposed change management programmed. Present the plan in tabular form with textual explanation. (Follow the format specified in Annex A-attached)

2. Select theories/concepts of leading and managing change that are applicable to the article with articulated critical understanding.

3. Make a critical review of the article. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the opinions of the author and discuss both the positive and negative points based on your overall judgment.

4. Discuss your own point of view on how change can be implemented based on your evaluation. Relate your critical analysis to any of the theoretical models of change.

5. Conclude the key points and reasons identified during the critical evaluation.

6. Implement Harvard Style of Referencing from at least 15 references with year not older than 2006 from varied sources.
