We have read about many different "schools" or theories of management, ranging from Maslow to Bureaucracies to Scientific Management - and several more. We have also noted the growing influence of Millennials in the workplace. Identify and briefly summarize an article that addresses the workplace characteristics of the Millennial Generation (those born from 1980-1998). Please also review the "60 Minutes" video - which is now almost 10 years, but remains as relevant to this topic as it was when it was first shown. What does this material tell you about are the general attributes, motivators, and expectations of Millennials when it comes to their careers and the environments in which they work? Then, select from Chapter 3 of the text. and use the Management Theory or School that best captures the way in which this generation prefers to be engaged in the workplace.
