The authors propose that to boost financial performance (FP), businesses need to transform their business models (BMT) to handle environmental turbulence (ET), especially by managing competition from OTT players and capitalizing on unique opportunities. For Internet Service Providers (ISPs), a technology-focused approach is essential for sustainable BMT, promoting rapid innovation and customer value. In Indonesia's ISP sector, sustaining FP involves tackling disruptive innovation through comprehensive BMT, including value chain transformation and efficient resource management. The study recommends digitalizing the value chain, exploring new revenue models, and achieving operational excellence through alignment and innovation. While ET doesn't directly impact FP, it demands business changes, encouraging proactive awareness and innovative marketing. ISPs should anticipate regulatory changes and uncertainties, while managers should develop strategic flexibility, adapt quickly, and enhance insights, building teams as creative change agents to navigate evolving markets and competitors.
