According to the alwaystestclean.com website, a report by the Los Angeles Times News Service stated that in a study of 161 prescription and over-the-counter medications, 65 of them produced false positive drug test results in the most widely administered urine test. Some examples cited were ibuprofen leading to false positive tests for THC, poppy seeds on bagels leading to false positive tests for opiates, amoxicillin leading to false positive tests for cocaine, and black skin leading to false positive tests for marijuana.
