If I were to choose one global resource that would have the biggest impact on inequality within and between nations it would be technology. By raising the need for educated people and reducing the need for inexperienced employees, technological advances could worsen inequality in the economy. The development of computers or other types of devices, for instance, raised the need for highly trained employees, which may result in a wage gap between workers with skills and those without. Another way technology can impact inequality is by the development or upgrades in the healthcare industry. Some nations have the funding in order to develop high quality technology that can help their patients when it comes to medical treatment. Other nations may not be able to afford any of those options. They are not able to take care of certain individuals.
