Scenario:

The purpose of digital signatures is to provide authenticity to a document or a digital message. The messages or documents which use a digital signature, provide the recipient with surety that it is valid.

I discovered that the benefits of Digital Authentication are recipients of digitally signed documents can rest assured that their data is safe and valid. This increases the security of the data. Also, since, there is less paperwork to be consulted, as documents are signed digitally, the time of consulting the physical paper is saved. This increases workflow. Lastly, less paper means a requirement of less storage space for physical files. Hence, the storage space can be utilized for other purposes.
