Improvement Project Charter Assignment.

1. For this assignment, select a process within your organization or another organization you are familiar with that could benefit from improvement. Shift your analysis from identifying lean wastes to exploring how change management methodologies can be applied to enhance and optimize this process. FOCUS OS ISSUES RELATED TO PROCESS OPTIMIZATION (Identifying and implementing the most effective processes for change, which may involve reengineering existing processes or creating new ones).

2. Your task is to write project charter that documents the process you have selected and your objectives for improvement. Use at least three (3) of the following change management methodologies in your analysis and plan:

Kotter's 8-Step Change Model

Lewin's Change Management Model

ADKAR Model

McKinsey 7-S Model

Bridges' Transition Model

Kubler-Ross Change Curve

3. A charter template is provided (check the link from the UM Learn), but other formats will be accepted as long as they cover all sections found in the provided template. Your charter should clearly outline the rationale for choosing each methodology, the combined strategy for their implementation, anticipated challenges and proposed solutions, and the expected impact on the organization or process.

4. Additionally, draft a cover "email" seeking approval to launch your project. This email should serve as your call to action and explain why you propose to follow a change management approach integrating the methodologies mentioned above. Your email should be concise, a maximum of three paragraphs, effectively communicating the value of your proposed approach.

5. Submit your assignment through the dropbox in UM Learn. Ensure your submission includes both the project charter and the cover email, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of how strategic application of change management principles can lead to significant improvements in the chosen process."
