Six Sigma is a data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects (driving toward six standard deviations between the mean and the nearest specification limit) in any process from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service. The fundamental objective of the Six Sigma methodology is the implementation of a measurement-based strategy that focuses on process improvement and variation reduction through the application of Six Sigma improvement projects. The Imperial College from the United Kingdom plans to conduct a project of "Searching and collecting a special type of fungi-Fungi Beta" in tropical jungle of Sarawak, Malaysia. In order to ensure that the project could be executed and attain its objective, you as a team project leader has planed to use Six Sigma approach.
