Bright Light Innovations has chosen Nepal as the target market based upon socioeconomic and environmental needs.

The decision to be established as a for-profit organization is justifiable due to the instability of the non-profit environment. Expenses involving the amassing of funds and the continued effort to avoid depletion could prove detrimental to the venture: However, the structure proposed offers meager margins in comparison to many other industries. The organization may want to consider reputable business partners already established within the country (Anti-Corruption Steps, 2013). Partners who have a vested stake in the financial return of the venture, as well as in the well-being of the local community, may prove quite valuable. In addition, Bright Light Innovation should embrace the modern socioeconomic market. Many companies have forgone the traditional non-profit structure, and have instead focused on business ventures that provide societal good: "Social enterprises are hybrid organizations established for a social purpose, using a for-profit business model to generate the financial resources needed to support their social missions" (Miles, Verreynne & Luke, 2014, p. 549).
