SeaWorld is having is the scrutiny they are recieving becuase of the poor living conditions the animals have. Two killer whale trainers have been killed from the animals unrest. This has caused bad publicity and outrage from environmentalist groups. On the other hand the actual park facilities are outdated and need to be updated to enhance the customers experience. Dissatisfaction has lead to stock drop on the market, leaving investors unhappy. This is a problem because they have competition like Universal, Disney, Animal Kingdom, Busch Gardens and even zoo’s. Any bad press is gold for the competition. With the environmentalist groups down their backs about how the animals are treated and kept they are always having to be extra cautious.
