Question 1: First, share a fun fact or two about yourself (i.e. your hobbies, major, a picture of you and your pet dog, etc.), and second, tell the class what you hope to learn from taking this class. While I hypothesize that some of you signed up for this course to fulfill a general education requirement, I sincerely want to know what your goals are for yourself in this course. Is there a particularly time period or event that you hope to learn about? Are you excited to learn more about historical skills? This introductory discussion board will help me and your classmates get to know you better in the absence of face-to-face discussion.
Question 2: In your responses, interact with your classmates. Have you taken classes with one another before? Do you share similar interests in hobbies or major? Do you have similar jobs or families? This a range of questions for you to think about when responding to your classmates, but you may address others. I will be interacting within the discussion board as well.
There is not minimum word count, and no extra points will be given to those who use media in their response. However, creativity is encouraged!
