Instructions for Law Assignment-

Apply the "Pro-active Law Framework" outlined in class and detailed in the readings to the case, "The Shakedown".

The submission should analyze each element of the framework and every relevant legal issue that the business case gives rise to that we have discussed in class or in the readings. You should address ALL legal issues that we have discussed in class, not just issues related to corruption. You may assume (or not) that UAE law applies - just state whether you are making this assumption.

The briefing should be 1200-2500 words in length, not including title pages, references, or appendices.
