Question

You are now approached by a number of clients who have particular situations with regards to apparent obligations upon themselves or others in respect to property and land. Mumtaz enters into an agreement with his neighbour, Rapinda, that she can lay cable service to her TV under his land. Carla and Steven buy a small cottage on the coast near Cornwall. Steven discovers that they have a right to walk across a neighbouring field to access the path leading to the beach. Adrien is keen to escape the city and wishes to set himself up in a cabin in the woods. He also wishes to keep some small livestock and is worried that they might stray. Adrien is relieved to see that after checking at the Land Registry his neighbour has a duty to keep the fence between them in good repair. Katrina has moved into a smaller property in the city from a larger house in the country. She is given permission to store some larger furniture that can't fit into her new smaller flat in her friend's garage.

With reference to the facts regarding the situation with Mumtaz, Steven and Carla, Adrien and Katrina; explain what kind of right arises in each case in regards to and define what type of rights they are.
