You will write a 750-1,000-word paper in which you analyze a visual advertisement of your choice. This ad may come from a magazine or newspaper (either printed or online). You will need to include a copy of the ad as an additional document in the dropbox; it should not be included in your paper. For this assignment, it is important for you to look at the ad and examine how it appeals to pathos, ethos, and logos. In fact, you may want to devote a paragraph of your paper to each of the 3 concepts listed above. Your paper needs to have a clear thesis statement, introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Submit the paper as one document and the ad as a separate document. In total, you will have 2 separate documents that are turned in for this assignment. In order to conform to the conventions of academic writing, your essay must include a clearly stated thesis. The paragraphs must be coherently organized and include an introduction and conclusion. All sources used must be properly cited. Your paper must be follow APA format. The essay must be free of spelling, grammatical, and mechanical errors.
