Exploring Complexity Theory
This week, you explored complexity theory. Now you will conduct your own research. Note: If you have access to leaders, conduct a brief interview with one or two of them to better understand your assumptions about the interactions between leaders and followers.
In this assignment, you will conduct research to examine and understand a variety of contextual factors that influence New Genre leadership theory, such as complexity theory, which includes, but is not limited to, gender.
Instructions:
Reflect on the micro-level (day-to-day) interactions, the meso-level interactions that occur across days, and the macro-level interactions that occur across weeks and months within the context of complexity leadership theory. Draw upon research, readings, and professional work experience. If you cite individuals, use APA style for personal communication and do not include these on your reference page. Support your claims and assumptions with peer-reviewed research.
