Hannah just got her license. While driving, Hannah becomes distracted by a text message that she received on her phone. As Hannah looks down at her phone, a little boy (5 years old), who is chasing after his ball, runs into the road. As Hannah looks up from her phone, she sees the boy, but it is too late. Although she tried to stop, she strikes the boy with the vehicle. The little boy's mom is in the front yard when the accident occurs. She sees the accident and passes out, striking her head on a rock. Fortunately, the little boy survived but has a broken arm. The little boy's mom was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
