Media Application Paper. It will use course materials to write a short (650-700 words) sociological analysis of a selected media. This assignment has a 700-word limit. That is about one full typed page, single-spaced, font size 12, with one-inch margins.
Media includes, but is not limited to: visuals (posters, photographs, artwork, graffiti), music (lyrics, videos), current events (BBC, NY Times, Al Jazerra), movies, books, cartoons, video games, computer generated graphics, television shows, and social media.

Be sure that your paper uses sociological concepts from the class to analyze the experience. You should refer to your media example throughout this section, weaving it into your analysis in order to show your readers how to see it through a sociological perspective.
