ASSIGNMENT PROMPT :

The objective of this discussion is to expand our individual and collective understanding of the differences and similarities between the critical and creative thinking processes.

Assignment Requirement:

· Read Section 1 - Preface through Page 20 in the textbook (SEE below for textbook information)

· Analyze critical thinking and creative thinking processes and identify the uses for each within an organization.

· 550 word requirement with at least 4 references listed in APA format.

Directions/Suggestions:

· Start by doing some research for articles about each of these concepts. Begin to construct definitions and/or identifying parts of each process.

The word Analyze means you are expected to pull apart the pieces and compare them, drawing connections and your own conclusions about the concepts. In short, don't just report on what others have written, create a new understanding.

· You might want to include some articles from business journals like Forbes, Fortune etc. to broaden your scope of understanding and to help you identify the ways actual organizations currently use these two distinct processes.

· Be sure any time you state a fact or use wording from any source, you denote it with an In-Text Citation and list it in a References section at the bottom of your post.
