Analyze the content of dating profiles from an online dating site/app. You can select any online site/app, just make sure the site/app includes profiles with text as well as photos. You will compare men's and women's profiles - review at least 15 men's and 15 women's profiles. Try to look at profiles within a similar age range. You should focus on the photos and text in the profiles. You can analyze gender patterns in things such as: adjectives used to describe themselves/ideal partners, what they're looking for in a partner, style of photos and how the individuals are posed, hobbies/interests, etc. Do these vary by gender? Race? Sexual orientation? Focus your analysis on the overall gender differences between men's profiles and women's profiles.
