Individual Paper - Analysis of an Ethical Dilemma

The assignment is as follows:

Each student should research and write a paper about an organization that has encountered a serious ethical dilemma in the past.

Please do not use examples that have or will be discussed in the course.

Your paper should include, but is not limited to:

1) A factual summary of the ethical dilemma that the organization experienced;

2) the organization's reaction to this dilemma;

3) how the organization's reaction to the situation affected each of the major stakeholders in this situation. Include each stakeholder's position in this case and their reaction;

4) your opinion as to whether the organization responded in the most ethical manner possible;

5) several alternative responses that the organization could have taken and the probable consequences of each;

6) describe how the relationship between the organization and its stakeholders changed after this incident, if at all; etc.
