Deliver an individual presentation to analyse GreenGo Urban Logistics' strategic need for change, apply an appropriate change management model, and evaluate how organisation development can support cultural alignment and resilience.

GreenGo Urban Logistics; The company background

GreenGo Urban Logistics was founded in Bristol in 2019 as a sustainable last-mile delivery start-up. Its mission has been to support independent retailers and e-commerce businesses with fast, eco-friendly delivery solutions that reduce urban congestion and pollution. Starting with just five electric cargo bikes and a small local client base, GreenGo quickly built a reputation for reliability, transparency, and sustainability.

By 2022, the company had grown to 50 employees, operating a mixed fleet of electric vans and bikes. Development and rollout of a proprietary logistics management app for real-time tracking, customer feedback, and data analytics.

Introduction of outsourced support functions (e.g., HR, finance, call-centre services) to manage growth efficiently.

Redesign of job roles to integrate digital tools and performance monitoring, shifting from a casual to a more performance-driven culture.
While these initiatives aim to strengthen GreenGo's market position, they have triggered significant employee concerns. Long-standing staff worry about loss of autonomy, changing job security, and the erosion of the company's community-oriented culture. Communication gaps between leadership and front-line employees are also fuelling resistance. GreenGo must therefore manage this transformation carefully, balancing strategic growth and digital integration with employee engagement, cultural alignment, and resilience.
