Task - SPSS Data Exercise

Some students complain that personal meetings with instructor give other students an unfair advantage during research methods class examinations. To check this contention, 39 students were randomly assigned to three groups, 13 who met with instructor after class in the classroom itself, 13 who met with the instructor in his office other than class day, and 13 who haven't met with instructor other than class period. The students then took a research methods class examination that required application of concepts taught in the class. The exam scores for the three groups are shown in the table below. Do the data provide sufficient evidence to indicate that students taking this particular examination obtain higher scores when meeting with instructor in his office other than class day to clarify their concepts as compared to the other conditions? Conduct the appropriate statistical test at α = .05.

Note: Please conduct appropriate analysis using SPSS. In the write-up please provide descriptive statistics in addition to test statistics and group comparisons. Write-up should include discussion about statistical assumptions for the particular statistical procedure you will use. Please also provide SPSS syntax from your analysis.
