Question: Sally comes to see you for advice. She brings with her the following advert: The Love Boat Company offers 14-day cruises from Sydney to the beautiful Antarctica for only $4,000. Book now and not only will the Love Boat Company pay for your return airfare from Wellington, Christchurch or Auckland, but you will receive free flight luggage to the value of $400. The Love Boat ships are fully equipped with gymnasiums, with the latest equipment compared to other cruise companies and have trained and qualified personal trainers. About 3 months ago she saw the advert in a magazine and booked a trip for herself and her partner with the Love Boat Company. While she was away on the cruise, she discovered the price that Australian passengers paid for the cruise was the equivalent of NZ $3,200. She also found, to her horror that the gymnasium consisted of 10 exercycles and a number of free weights and the instructors were only crew members that had an interest in sports. Finally, she has never received her free flight luggage and when she inquired with the company, she was told that this promotion was only for the first ten people who booked a cruise.

Required: ?Advise Sally what sections of the Fair Trading Act 1986 may have been breached by the Love Boat Company. Explain why these sections may have been breached and possible remedies for Sally.
