The salesperson from Ace Plumbing asks Jack if he would like to apply for a store card. The salesperson tells Jack that the application will take less than 10 minutes. After signing the credit contract, he can take the shower/bathroom kit home immediately. After a quick credit check with Bay Finance, Ace Plumbing offers Jack a credit contract with its finance company (at 18% interest). The salesperson explains the obligations to Jack under the contract, and after agreeing, Jack signs the credit contract and takes the shower/bathroom kit home.
