Reply to this discussion board : I think that cyberterrorism is a serious threat, because of the advancement of technology and people's information. If you think about it back in the 1980's and 1990's, when you went to a doctor or went to purchase a new car your information would be taken down in paper form and filed away. Now everything is done electronically medical records, and applications and in the wrong hands could cause serious damage to a person's life. They could literally take over someone's identity and ruin their credit, which could take years to fix. I feel cyberterrorism could also come in the form of hacking our military information to find out plans on if we had to go to war what the plans would be. All of this being done electronically yes it makes it convenient, but I also feel it is a double edged sword because someone could hack the systems to cause complete chaos.
