Suppose you are taking an accounting course and a writing course next semester. You like accounting so you believe that probability af getting an A in accounting is 0.75. On the other hand, writing is not as interesting to you so the probability of getting an A in that class is 0.50. It will be challenging to manage both courses at the same time so the probability of getting an A in both classes is about 0.25. Are the events A in accounting and A in writing independent?
