The issue that you are considering for this assignment is native advertising, which you have already begun to explore through both videos and readings. After further studying and researching the issue, you will respond to the following question:
Should publishers that sell native advertising space be required to more conspicuously disclose such brand partnerships to readers/viewers so that the commercial nature of the content is more obvious?
The primary purpose of this assignment is to encourage critical and in-depth thought about a real-world issue. Additionally, it will allow me to evaluate your ability to: (a) support a point of view with relevant and credible sources, (b) demonstrate a deeper understanding of a course concept, and (c) develop lengthier prose.
