Nitrogen oxide is a pollutant that causes health problems as well as acid rain. NO naturally forms in the atmosphere in the following equilibrium reaction:

N2(g) + O2(g) >>>> 2NO (g) Kp = 4.1 X 10^-31 @ 298K

Determine the equilibrium concentration of NO in molecules/mL in the air.

Here are a couple of hints - (1) You can calculate the concentration of N2 and O2 in the air using the ideal gas law. (2) Be sure to factor in the percent composition of N2 and O2 in air.
