As a local law enforcement professional, you have been invited as a guest speaker at a local community meeting in which town residents, officials, and other law enforcement personnel may be in attendance. This will be an informational meeting in which terrorism on an international level will be the topic.

Prepare a PowerPoint presentation for the meeting to help educate your community regarding terrorism on a global level. 

Begin by researching two (2) countries that are known for supporting or turning a blind eye to terrorist activities. Identify major economic, political, and religious ideologies as well as motivations for allowing these terrorist acts. Discuss possible reasons why these countries have targeted the United States or support terrorist organizations that do. Make sure to answer the following questions in your presentation:

Identify global terrorist organizations and identify their specific ideology and motivations.
What strategies and tactics do these groups use?
Why is it that the United States appears to be a prime target?
Do you think the cooperation of domestic law enforcement entities is sufficient, or what are the benefits, if any, for global cooperation to combat terrorism?
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as "speaker notes" for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.

Support your presentation with at least 3 scholarly or professional resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. 

Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate reference slide)
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
