A 100 lb door has a weight of 100 lbs and a center of gravity at point g. determine the resultant force at points A and B. Point B resists forces in the X and Y directions. Point A resists forces in the X, Y and Z directions. The bottom horizontal edge of the door lies on the Y axis and the left vertical edge lies on the Z axis. The tho hinges lie on the Z axis on the left of the door. Point A is 18" from the floor on Z axis , Point B lies 66" from the floor on Z axis . Point G lies 42" from the floor and 18" to the right of the Z axis.
